Catch Up...

So it has been awhile since I have posted, let a lone posted with updated pictures. A lot has happened since our last post. Just a quick side note, it looks like I was right calling Duke for the Champs...
I had to take the Praxis II exam and passed it with a 154. I was stoked because I needed a 143 for Id and a 150 for Ut. Now I have to take the Praxis I exam tomorrow. I hope I do well on that one also because it is supposed to be easier than the second.

So Koy has finally decided it was his turn to fall down the stairs. Except not by himself. He was sitting on his little non-motorized four wheeler and I don't know if he centered up and thought he could go down them or if his tire got too close to the edge and he slipped off the side. Luckily we have 3 stairs and then a platform where they turn and go all the way to the bottom. I was downstairs in the laundry room when I heard his bike tumbling. I spun around the corner and luckily he had landed at the platform, because the bike was at the end of the staircase. By the time I got to him he has started to bleed.
He just gushed with blood. He was screaming and freaking out. I had to call my mom over to help me figure out where all the blood was coming from and if he would need stitches. Both nostrils bled along with a cut on the top lip. Nothing too bad though. His nose did start to swell, but I called the doctor's office and they doubted it was broken. Well to add to the story he had just started getting a cold 2 days prior. By now, his nose was a snot faucet. his whole nose and top lip were so tender he wouldn't let us hardly wipe it with a Kleenex. His fall took place on a Thurs. afternoon.

Then on Sunday we were kinda thinking he might have an ear infection, on Wed. I finally took him in. He did. They gave him amoxicillin. After he was on that for 1 week, he broke out in a rash that covered his entire body (photo #2). Luckily it didn't itch and he was quite proud of it. I had to take him back in and they switched his medicine. We are not for sure it was his medicine or just from the infection itself. They went away a couple days later. He has really been a good sport though considering.
Annikan and her fam (excluding Mike) came down for their spring break. It was a lot of fun. My mom and Rob put on an Easter egg hunt in the house for the kids. They absolutely loved it. We blew eggs, and dyed eggs. Koy was too much help this year compared to last. So he only got to do 2 or 3. Koy and I also got the privilege of participating in the annual Burns' Easter egg hunt at Grandma Burns's house. That it always fun and brings back so many good memories. Koy got a little sword, a pair of shorts, two tops, sunglasses with his play cellphone, and a new church outfit. He looks so handsome in his new outfit.Kelly took a stealhead fishing trip with his brother's family. They went to Riggins, ID. Kelly had a lot of success. He caught 12 one day and 8 the next. I think he said all were wild, except for 3. They didn't keep any though because they had no room.
I just started playing volleyball last week on a comp. league down in Smithfield. It was fun. It is a really good work out. Kelly and I participated in our ward's golden green ball last month and got to perform our final routine on the 9th of this month. We had a really fun time and I think it was a success. I hope that somewhat brought you all up to date with our family. Until next time! Chow!!

March Madness!!

Welcome to March Madness! This is one of the most exciting time of the year. The greatest thing this year is i'm practically a stay at home mom so I get to watch a ton of the games! Yeah! Crappiest thing is I love to talk smack, but I don't have facebook so I didn't get in the petterborg pool this year and I'm not at Inovar so I didn't get in that pool either. Buh! Oh well, I guess my closest friends get to hear me. Let me give a shout out to the Cougs! Good work, it's about time. Good luck Aggies. But ultimately it is Duke's year! Chow~

Random things

Tyson and Koy at Jen and Randy's Wedding

Koy...I just love this picture. He has such a cute smile.

Koy helping us in the yard before Winter set in.

My little brother Jeremy's baby boy...Crew

It has been a while since I have posted...not including the one I just did! :) But a lot of things have happened. My Mom had a birthday in Nov. and my sister just had a birth day at the beginning of Dec. Its weird when we start getting to the age that we thought was so old. I can't believe I will be turning 26 after the new year. It's creepy. Koy and I went on a road trip to see my sister and her family for her birthday. I was there like 4 daysish and we didn't take any pictures! I know crazy right! We had a ton of fun. Although we always do when we go so no big surprise. My amazing husband was sweet enough to finally arrange for our downstairs bathroom to get done while I was away. I can't believe it is really done. That means we got the new back door in, bathroom done, now we just need the carpet down the stairs and I will have met my BEFORE CHRISTMAS goal!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's only been 3 years.
Well we are EXCITED for Christmas. Koy is at that age where I think he is going to be a blast. We have so far forgone the tree thing this year. I started wrapping presents, but stopped because Koy likes to pack them around and sit or stand on them. He has already tore off name tags and ripped 1/2 of Crew's paper off of his gift. So I think I will wait until maybe Christmas Eve.

Halloween

We had fun for Halloween. It will be much funner when Koy gets old enough to go trick or treating. Halloween is by far my favorite holiday besides Christmas. I love dressing up. Koy was a chicken this year so Kelly and I decided to be farmers. We went to my Mom's ward Halloweeen party.

Koy's First Black Eye

So we were over at Grandma and Grandpa Tondini's the other night. Koy wanted to sit on Grandpa Rob's lap...but like with everything he was quickly over it and wanted down. Rob set him down on the ground and Koy fell on his bumm. Then he started crying. I picked him up to find he had a quite prominant purple bump over his eye. It was crazy it was so fast. We tried to ice it, but he didn't want any of that. He just wanted to get down and start playing again. I was starting to think it was never going to go away. I swear it lasted 10 days. He is very destructive.
(Some of you probably already have seen this photo on my mother's site...for some reason I guess she thinks because it was taken at her house with her camera she got the copy right to publish his "first black eye".)

Baking with Dad

My mom is always wanting Kel to make her no bakes. She doesn't really even have to beg either cuz they are Kel's favorites and they are easy. I don't know about this time with his extra help, but they definetely had some fun!
Good work Boys!!!
